Ecuador tourism numbers up twelve percent in 2012

Ecuador tourism grew 12 percent in 2012 over the previous year, which is three times the rate of rise of this activity in the world that was 4.0 percent, according to prensa-latina.cu.
Luis Falconi, Vice Minister of Tourism of Ecuador, noted that growth in this sector is related to government investment of $ 147 million made between 2007 and 2012 to stimulate the influx of visitors and attention in this Andean country.
