Ecuador reports so far one death, 85 injured in quake on 5-16-2016

The president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, said today that one person died and 85 others suffered minor injuries as a result of the earthquake of magnitude 6.8 on the Richter scale that struck the northern part of the Ecuadorian coast around noon.

From the Integrated ECU Safety 911 in Quito System, Correa said that as a result of the quake, which was a replica of happened last April, died an older adult in the city of Tosagua province of Manabi, yet the causes are unknown with precision. Read Article
