47% of respondents still do not know who to vote for President and Vice President, and 53% have already decided their preference
Cedatos pollster presented his study “Facts and Figures 2016”, whose information is based on face-to-face interviews in 2,131 households between December 19 and 26. The survey included a simulation of the intention to vote, in the face of the February 19 elections. The list is led by Lenin Moreno who has a 35.6% support, followed by Guillermo Lasso with 22.3%.

In general, Polibio Córdova, representative of Cedatos, said that the optimism declined. If in 2014 66% believed that the country was on track, now the percentage reaches 26%. In addition, the main problem for Ecuadorians is the economic situation and the second is corruption.

The results of intention to vote are as follows:

Lenín Moreno 35.6%

Guillermo Lasso 22.3%

Cynthia Viteri 10.9%

Paco Moncayo 6,9%

Dalo Bucaram 3.0%

Within 50 days of the election, Cordova explained that he had never seen such a high degree of indecision. 47% still do not know who to vote for President and Vice President, and 53% have already decided their preference.
