Ecuador not to send military or police to former School of the Americas in U.S.

Ecuador will not send their military and police to the U.S. to be trained in the former School of the Americas, which challenges human rights violations committed by several of his students , the government announced today. The government “has decided that is not going to send more officers or soldiers or members of the Armed Forces or the Police” now called the Institute for Security Cooperation in Latin America, said the defense minister, Miguel Carvaja l, reporters.
