Ecuador: Communications media law vote scheduled for Wednesday

The National Federation of Journalists (Fenape) has a stand against the issue of communications law and argues that what should be done is to “take it to the shredder,” said Marcelo Larrea commented, head of the guild. The 124 members of Ecuador’s National Assembly will vote on Wednesday on a controversial media law in Ecuador, the agency reported today on its website. The law is about three years of revisions and regulatory questions for their content to the media, DPA said. Read Article
