Ecuador, business confidence down in survey

The Business Confidence Index, measured and monitored by Deloitte, starts the new year with 3 points less than that registered in December, reaching 92.3 of a possible 250 points.
Despite its decline, remains a high level compared with that reported in January 2010 (83), 2009 (73) and 2008 (78). As in the last months of 2010, one factor that employers assess as positive the price of a barrel of oil, according to figures from the Central Bank of Ecuador, during all of 2010 averaged USD $ 70.90.
