Ecuador: Armed assailants disguised as police haul away a ton of illegal drugs from government warehouses

Offenders who covered their faces with balaclavas carrying guns and dressed caliber of police, stole more than a ton of drugs in the warehouses of the National Council of Narcotic and Psychotropic Substances (Consep).

According to unofficial information, theft of drugs, including cocaine, heroin and marijuana, have occurred early Friday when the rogues arrived in trucks to the facility, located in northern Quito.
