Ecuador analyzing possible purchase of $200 million in military transport equipment from Russia

The agreement that the Governments of Ecuador and Russia subscribe to the strengthening of Ecuadorian Land Forces for about $ 200 million, would involve the purchase of equipment to over 385 military transport infrastructure (see box).

Assemblyman Fausto Cobo (PSP) said the credit of Russia can not yet concrete, since trading in military terms is in a stage setting. But the official aim is to enhance the mobility of Army ground and air and give it the capacity to support the management of country risk. Read Article
