Cuenca Ecuador: violent death numbers increase

Elcomercio.com reported he was murdered with a gun. It happened the night of June 8, in the neighborhood Cayambe, a central sector of the capital Azuay. It was the murder of Mark M. and was the sixth case perpetrated in that sector and contained in official records. According to figures from the Judicial Police, 37 homicides and murders were recorded last year and have counted 20 so far in the first half in Metro Manila. There is alarm in Cuenca for the latest deaths were violent. One case that caught the attention of the people was to Liliana P. She was beaten, raped, strangled and burned.
