Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina: Police Rescue 7 Females from Sex Trafficking

On June 14, 2013 Télam reported that Argentinian federal police in Comodoro Rivadavia have rescued seven women who had been victims of trafficking and sexual exploitation. The freed women include Dominican, Paraguayan, Bolivian and Argentinian nationals. The victims are currently under the care of the provincial Human Trafficking Office.

During the raid, police successfully arrested an important member of the trafficking organization, an adult woman. They also seized cash, agendas, cell phones and other objects necessary for the investigation. Read Article
