Colombia, Substantial Growth in Investment from China, Japan, and South Korea

•In March of 2011, imports from China have by risen 69.4%, Japan’s by 103.5% and South Korea’s by 23.8% from March of 2010 per elespectador.com.
•External sales from China amounted to $645.7 million USD CIF; from Japan they rose to $162.5 million USD CIF; from South Korea they reached $106.0 million CIF.
•In the first trimester of 2011, imports from China have increased by 54.7%, those from Japan by 62.4%, and those from South Korea by 33.8%. Read Article
