Colombia: Army locatedexplosives placed by FARC in Arauca, Cauca, Meta

Army troops in offensive operations development achieved timely neutralization of five improvised explosive devices installed by terrorists of the FARC in Arauca, Cauca and Meta.
The first action took place in the village of Los Pinos in the municipality of Suarez, Cauca, where soldiers Ground Combat Battalion of Numancia N 3 First, Third Brigade found and destroyed in a controlled explosive device, installed by terrorists of the gang Jacobo Arenas of the FARC.

Simultaneously Battalion Ground Combat N 108, made this time in the sector of the municipality of Toribio Albania, the same department, they found a 40-pound cylinder, loaded with explosives, with which the sixth terrorist gang wanted threatening civilians and troops that are in the area.

Another death trap, disseminated by the tenth terrorist gang, was detected and subsequently destroyed by the Artillery Battalion No. 18 General José María Mantilla, in the municipality of Arauquita, Arauca.

Finally, in the municipalities of La Uribe and Vista Hermosa, Meta, two explosive devices installed by the FARC terrorist factions, were destroyed in a controlled manner by units attached to the Ground Combat Battalion N 18 and N 25, respectively. Read Article
