Colombia, 8-12% of Children Suffer from Depression

•About 8-12% of Colombian children are suffering from depression.
•RCN Radio spoke to psychologist Henry Castillo who traces this problem to the family life of the children.
•Castillo states that children are affected by stresses from their parents who may either not provide emotional support, be too engaged in work, or pressure their children to do better without acknowledging their successes in school.
