Bandits with Knives Rob Tollbooth in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil

On January 16, 2013, Zero Hora reported that a trio of thieves armed with knives robbed a tollbooth along BR-386 near the town of Fazenda Vilanova, located roughly 100 kilometers from Porto Alegre, the state capital of Rio Grande do Sul.  The assault occurred around 8pm last night, near kilometer marker 310.  The men made off with some money; however, according to administrators of the tollbooth, the only money in the booths was small bills and coins required to make change.  One man was arrested, suspected of involvement in the crime.  Police continue to search for the other two.  Read Article
