This is cattle country and you’ll find “bife” on every menu: from asado (barbecue) to bife de chorizo (sirloin steak) or even stuffed in an empanada – which is what locals call a meat pie. Argentina is the fifth-largest producer of wines in the world, so you’ll never be short of a drop.
