acritica.net reported on May 21, 2013 that the soon to be new governor of Paraguay, Pedro Gonzales, will visit Brazil today; May 22, to discuss with the Governor of Mato Gross do Sul, André Puccinelli, issues of industry, commerce, and agriculture. Pedro Gonzales wants to create a free trade zone as well as increase job opportunity as a means to decrease criminal activity in the border region. Drug trafficking and smuggling of vehicles and other products such as cigarettes, are among the types of crimes that occur along the border between Paraguay and Brazil.Read Article
