Truck driver arrested for transporting drugs in Peru

Officials with the anti-narcotics division in Peru arrested Julio Cesar Jinnpe Castilla, a truck driver found to be transporting drugs. The drugs originated in Valle de los Ríos Apurímac and Ene, Diario Correo reports. The driver argued that the truck had been taken to the San Francisco locality in order for him to transport goods. Eric Michael Enciso Lopez was identified as the owner of the vehicle and was also taken into custody. Investigations continue. The type of drug seized was not reported. Read Article
