23 drug laboratories discovered in Jalisco, Mexico so far in 2012

Over 20 thousand chemicals used in drug production have been seized, and 23 clandestine drug laboratories have been discovered so far in 2012 in Jalisco, Mexico. According to an El Universal report, 292 people have been arrested in association with drug production in the state. Many weapons were also seized during this time period, including 261 rifles, 166 shotguns, five grenade launchers, and 95 grenades. $873,892 pesos were also seized by military officials. Many other equipment items were seized, such as vehicles, radios, and cellular phones. Read Article
