Flota Panamericana bus held up by assailants near Cuenca Ecuador

Elcomercio.ec reported that on April 5, 2013, an interprovincial bus traveling between Cuenca and Quito Ecuador was held up by a group of armed gunmen. The assault took place at about 11:00 pm about an our hour outside of Cuenca near Zhud. Passengers were threatened and robbed of cellphones, cameras, jewelry, money and tablets.
