Santiago Chile: Police Clas with Student Protesters

presstv.ir reported police in Chile have clashed with protesting students and teachers in the country’s capital of Santiago during another mass demonstration over the country’s education system.

Chilean security forces used tear gas and water cannon during the Wednesday rally to disperse rock-throwing protesters, who were calling for an overhaul of Chile’s educational system.

An estimated 50,000 protesters further called on Chilean President Michelle Bachelet to fulfill her campaign pledges for better and free education. Read Article
