americatv.com reported ‘Los Chamos of the Rolex’ a band of thieves composed primarily of foreigners in Peru is targeting high end watches from unsuspecting individuals and tourists. Many of the stolen watches have a value of up to $20,000.

A new form of theft has arrived in Peru. This time the bands of foreign criminals are dedicated to subtract their victims high-end watches in Lima.

They go on motorcycles or cars and gun their victims before removing their watches. ‘The Chamos of the Rolex’ are already in the crosshairs of the National Police.

According to the complaints of the victims, the scope of action of these criminals are in the most affluent districts of Lima and where there are more foreigners.

While tourists are its potential victims, there are also Peruvians who have these types of watches. They take these expensive specimens out to meters and attack in a matter of seconds.
