Calama, Chile: OS-7 Seizes Drugs, Detains Drug Ring Leader

From Terra on July 1, 2013- After an investigation that began in April, agents of OS-7, Chile’s national anti-drug police, arrested the leader of a drug ring and seized 51,400 doses of marijuana. The drugs were being distributed in the western sector of the city, and due to police intelligence, authorities were able to locate the address of the leader of the drug ring. OS-7 established surveillance of the house and discovered a large amount of drugs. After receiving approval from a judge, OS-7 infiltrated the premises and arrested Jorge Castillo in addition to seizing more than 25 kilos of drugs. Read Article
