Mexican Army captures leader of Los Zetas in Nuevo Laredo

The Mexican army announced the capture of the alleged offender is identified as “Fabiruchis,” chief of the criminal organization Los Zetas in Nuevo Laredo, U.S. border city.

In a statement, the Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA) reported today that the arrested belong to that group since 2006 criminal and has been responsible for operations in the states of Nayarit and Zacatecas, and in the German town of Miguel, in Tamaulipas.

In Nuevo Laredo the detainee took over operations of Los Zetas after Gerardo Valdez War, aka the War, was recently killed by military personnel on 1 March. Read Article
