Seismic Researcher predicts major Caribbean earthquake

The Caribbean region should expect an earthquake of at least 8.0 magnitude on the Richter scale sometime soon, says Dr. Joan Latchman, Acting Director of the Seismic Research Centre of the University of the West Indies. Latchman says the region experiences a massive quake about every 100 years, in clockwork-like fashion, and has long since passed the century mark. Read Article
