ELUNIVERSO.COM REPORTED: The National Committee for the Regional Study of the El Niño Phenomenon, after a meeting held on Monday, estimated that there is currently a “bad weather phase” in which moderate to strong precipitation is accompanied by thunderstorms in much of the region Coast and coastal profile.

This phase, explained the entity, would last during this month until early March, with an increase in intensity this week.

Likewise, moderate rains will occur in the south of the inter-Andean alley, in the foothills of the eastern cordillera and in the Insular region will be dispersed, said in a statement.
