TELESURTV.NET reported the Isaias brothers, two bankers wanted over defrauding the state, could be turned in by the U.S. The brothers fled Ecuador and are living in exile in the United States.

The United States could help the Ecuadorean government to extradite the fugitive Isaias brothers, Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño announced after meeting the U.S. State Department envoy for the Western Hemisphere Roberta Jacobson.

Patiño also explained that other wanted political figures which have fled to the North American country could also be extradited back to Ecuador.
