Venezuela: New Labor Law

The Minister of Information and Communication, Andres Izarra, published via Twitter the full text of the Labour Act that President Hugo Chavez signed on Monday in the Miraflores Palace. “This Act aims to protect the work as a social and guarantee the rights of workers and women workers, creators of socially produced wealth and starring subjects of education and work processes to achieve the aims of the democratic and social of law and justice, “begins as the first item of legislation. “The productivity gains in a work unit and the improvement of production, will cause higher wages for workers and the workers,” specified in Article 110.
