Venezuela: man detained trying to transport gold in hand luggage illegally

Suspect detained before boarding flight to Miami, U.S. No documentation authorization shipment.
The afternoon of Thursday April 19, Airport Security Agents, in coordination with members of the National Guard (GNB), seized three gold ingots a Venezuelan citizen, at the International Airport Simón Bolívar Maiquetía. During the check in X-ray machines, security prosecutors detected in the passenger’s hand luggage three bars of yellow metal, with an approximate weight of 1,200 grams, a press review. The citizen, who was arrested, tried to board a flight to Miami, in the United States.
