Venezuela: Iron ore ship discovered with 470 kilos cocaine destined Europe, 22 detained

According to El-Nacional.com a ship that came from Belgium and docked at the port of Ferrominera Orinoco to load iron ore. Officials of the Regional Intelligence Unit Drug Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) were able to detect 478 kilos of high purity cocaine alleged to Juergen Schulte board the ship anchored in the port of Ferrominera Orinoco, in Ciudad Guayana, Bolívar state.

The 478 kilos corresponded to 354 packages hidden in a compartment of the ship’s engine room with Spanish flag that would target France, detailed the Ministry of Interior and Justice (MIJ) in a press release published on its website. Read Article
