Uruguay plans on becoming “gay friendly” travel destination

Uruguayan authorities and entrepreneurs today expressed their desire to open the country to tourism “gay friendly” (nice to homosexuals) to break the dependence on the arrival of visitors only in summer and taking advantage of the tradition of respect for diversity prevailing in Uruguay.

On Monday Montevideo hosted the Second International Conference on Tourism LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) under the title “I found Montevideo Friendly” at the headquarters of the Technological Laboratory of Uruguay (LATU). Read Article
