Ucayali region Peru: 7,521 dengue cases recorded for 2012

Ucayali region, in the central forest, ended 2012 with 7.521 cases of dengue, which were treated at health facilities and hospitals in the State, including Social Security, the report Operation Center Health Emergency (COES), said the Ministry of Health. The COES report indicates that during the emergency occurred 5.614 dengue without warning signs (74.64% of total), 1.858 cases of dengue with warning signs (24.70%) and 49 cases of severe dengue registered since 1 October 2012 to January 1, 2013.
