Roberta Jacobson discusses relations with the U.S. Under Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs says that the U.S. is concerned about the situation of the press in Ecuador.’The situation of the press in Ecuador we are deeply concerned. We have to say it is one of the most difficult cases for freelancers. We have also seen the use of the legal system. For us it is really an abuse of the legal system to change the perspective of the press.
