U.S.: Mexican drug cartels increased presence Silicon Valley

The Mexican drug cartels are having an increasing presence in Silicon Valley, a town located in the county of Santa Clara, California, warned by the district attorney, Patrick Vanier. The situation is occurring because the gangs have ties to people in Mexico, who have relatives living in the county to receive the operating, said the prosecutor. “This way people who are contacted or found by the cartels are recruited to process the drug within their own homes,” he added.
