U.S.: Four Guatemalans taken into custody at border, heroin hidden inside their bodies

Agents of Customs and Border Protection (CBP, for its acronym in English) arrested four Guatemalans in two different actions when they tried to enter the United States a shipment of heroin hidden inside their bodies. The spokesman of the unit, Phillip Barrera said the first assurance of narcotics was made in New Dawn International Bridge, which links with Pharr Reynosa. Heroin was encapsulated and swallowed by three people from Guatemala to prevent intercepted outside, but the staff stationed at the point of entry and exit from the country achieved its apprehension. The U.S. official said that thanks to the skills of inspection of customs officials and observing techniques, secured the shipment of 3.37 kilos of heroin, valued at $ 745,000 in the market.
