Developing Story
Family members have reported that friends Jhayna Elaine Clark and Breanna Stull Clemens left for Ecuador on June 2, 2012, from the United States. Apparently they were traveling to this Andean country as part of a mission trip and were scheduled to be in Cuenca.

The two have mysteriously disappeared and the families have no idea where the two American women are or who they are with. They claim reports have been filed with authorities in Ecuador. Family has verified that the two arrived in Ecuador via their passports and that they have not left Ecuador at least not through means of using a passport. Both relatives that contributed to this report, indicated it is very unusual that they would not have returned to their children and believe they are in trouble.
LATINAMERICCURRENTEVENTS.COM will continue to follow this story and report any findings as they become available.
