Tijuana, Mexico: 3 Sentenced for Human Trafficking

On August 7, 2013 El Mexicano Noticias reported two cases of human trafficking involving sexual and labor exploitation. Ángel Rafael Pérez Parker and his wife Elizabeth Rodríguez Navarrete were each sentenced to 12 years prison after being found guilty of sexually exploiting an underage female student and two young girls from Agua Prieta, Sonora.
Meanwhile, Rosario Gutiérrez Arellano was found guilty of forcing her two daughters, aged 7 and 11 years, to sell candy for her while she spent time with her boyfriend. Read Article
