Three raids in Paraguay lead to multiple drug arrests

Three raids around Paraguay, in Villa Elisa, San Antonio, and Luque, led to multiple arrests for drug crimes. In Villa Elisa, five family were arrested, according to La Nacion. One, Reyes Santa Cruz, possessed 60 doses of crack cocaine, marijuana, and two firearms. Another raid took place in the Achucarro neighborhood of San Antonio, where drugs were found inside two adjacent houses. Large quantities of crack cocaine were discovered, and two people were arrested. Money resulting from the sale of drugs was also discovered and seized. In Luque, a woman was arrested in her home in possession of 16 doses of crack cocaine. Officials claim that microtrafficking in Paraguay has grown out of control. Read Article
