Three illegal miners crushed and buried alive in Peruvian Jungle

Three informal miners were crushed under tons of mud and rocks in the province of Tambopata, Madre de Dios department in the southern Peruvian jungle, police said Saturday. The accident occurred early Sunday when the miners, whose names were not released, worked informally in a tunnel at the height of kilometer 115 of the Puerto Maldonado – Mazuco. Read Article
