New System Ensures Colombians’ Cellphone and Internet Rights

•Eltiempo.com reports that on October 1st, a new system will be put in place to guarantee subscribers’ rights from service providers in order to promote the spread of internet usage in Colombia.
•This system is explained in clear, simple language according to Cristhian Lizcano, executive director of the Commission of Regulation of Communications.
•The system will require companies to give their subscribers access to their contracts in either paper or digital form.
•Companies will provide plans for 12, 24, and 36 months in order to allow customers to attain computers, cellphones, and other communication devices financed by the service providers. Read Article
