Storm leaves 1 dead, 15 injured in Buenos Aires, Argentina

A powerful storm that produced heavy rain, hail and strong winds yesterday in Buenos Aires left one dead and at least 15 injured, according to abc.com.py. The storm came with warnings from the National Weather Service, and left the city and surrounding suburbs with severe damage. Trees and billboards were knocked down, which were what caused the injuries, and a gas station roof collapsed. The one death occurred when a tree fell on the man’s taxi. Parts of the city also experienced long periods of power outages from the storm.
