Shadow Wolves of ICE locate pot on Tohono O’odham Reservation, U.S.

Officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations seized 3,788 pounds of marijuana on the Tohono O’odham Nation on Friday, ICE announced Monday.
Officers from HSI’s Shadow Wolves unit, which tracks smuggling activity, followed tire tracks from two vehicles through the desert near Ventana and found a pickup truck hidden in brush and concealed under a camouflage tarp. The truck contained 84 bundles of marijuana weighing more than 1,924 pounds, ICE said in a press release. Read Article
