São Paulo, Brazil: Police Discover Hundreds of Marijuana Plants on Plantation

Globo reported on August 25, 2013 that the Military Police discovered a marijuana plantation in Campinas, São Paulo after receiving an anonymous tip. The police report the property had controlled-like conditions including a heated greenhouse, an automatic irrigation system, as well as photographs. Hundreds of marijuana plants were found with a placeholder to package the drug. The police have yet to arrest or identify anyone responsible. Read Article
