São Paulo, Brazil: Drug Seizures Increase

Globo reported on July 31, 2013 that the number of drugs seized in Midwest Paulista, São Paulo has increased. Drug traffickers continue to use trucks to transport large quantities. Police report traffickers hide drugs in gas tanks and in the tires. Particular highways have become major targets for police because the drugs enter from Paraguay and eventually reach large cities such as Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Read Article
