Santa Cruz, Bolivia 45 percent of homes in old town infected with larvae for dengue

The head of the Dengue, program dependent Departmental Health Service (Headquarters), Virgilio Prieto, expresses its concern at the high rate of larval presence in some districts of the city, especially downtown. “We have left the dry season and larval infestation is triggered, we do not know what will happen as we enter the rainy season. That’s almost half of the old town. ”
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) recommended maximum rate is 5% for every 100 houses. Read Article
