Rio de Janeiro Brazil: Listening to music on public transport without headphones banned

servidornoticias.com reported the Brazilian State of Rio de Janeiro today, banned by a regional law, listen to music with sound devices in the interior of public transport vehicles unless the user use earphones, official sources said. As the Act makes clear, they are considered sound devices any personal music player in digital format, mobile phone, Tablet, computer, radio, mp3 and mp4. Concessionary public transport companies now have 120 days to apply the new rules and visibly place explanatory posters of the new ban.
