Rio De Janeiro, Brazil: 300 Protesters Rally After Pope’s Speech

Terra reported on July 26, 2013 that about 300 people participated in a protest in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro. The protest was against Governor Sérgio Cabral and government spending on World Youth Day. Among the demonstrators, were pilgrims who came to listen to Pope Francisco speak. Military Police report at least one person was arrested. Read Article
