Red Bridge in Saltillo, Mexico is a Hotspot for Honduran Drug Traffickers

According to El Heraldo on May 22, 2013 two Honduran men were arrested at the Red Bridge southwest of Saltillo for selling marijuana. This comes less than week after 6 other Hondurans were arrested in the same area for drug related crimes, including possession and possession for the purpose of sale of marijuana, and powder and crack cocaine. According to authorities, the number of Central Americans arrested for crimes in Saltillo has risen dramatically in recent years. The city has recorded several cases of assaults, robberies, rapes, and murders committed by illegal immigrants on the way to the United States. Read Article
