Puno Department Peru, 80% of workers being exploited

In the department of Puno would reign the harshest labor informality, after news that more than 80% of companies in the region would infringe the rights of their workers, according to statistics cited by the Regional Directorate of Labour and Employment Promotion. According to the head of sectoral management, Apaza Walter Zela, many of the workers in the region would find themselves in exploitative labor, because that would be subject to working hours which exceed eight hours per day required by law, upon which fails payment of overtime.
