Puerto Remolino, Peru: Military Seizes Boat with More than Half a Ton of Drugs

From rpp.com on July 17, 2013- The Joint Command of the Armed Forces announced that last Tuesday the military intercepted a boat that carried 648.1 kilos of cocaine in the Puerto Remolino zone of the VRAEM. During the operation, authorities arrested four people who were transporting the drugs. This operation was part of a set of actions from the Joint Command of the Armed Forces aimed at combating the threat of organized drug trafficking and terrorism in the VRAEM.  Read Article
