President Correa orders arrest of two for making obscene signs

Irma Parra, Pika distribution manager in Riobamba, was arrested this morning by order of President Rafael Correa, called for making obscene signs and demonstrate for the not in the office when the president was in the promotional trailer for the Yes vote.
According to the police, Police Corporal Chele Nelson Cortez, a member of the security of the presidential motorcade, said “the president ordered the arrest of Irma Serrano Soledad Parra, 45, of disrespect by obscene signs.” Also, on Tuesday, a man from Salcedo was sentenced to 30 days in jail for allegedly insulting the President during his visit to Salcedo in Cotopaxi. According to the police, El Universo reported the defendant said, “what you get to this corrupt son of a ….”. The report states that Correa heard this and the president ordered his arrest.
